Lapsed Diver? Need a Scuba Skills Tune-Up? Join us on June 14th in Miami.

ADA is reaching out to the community to provide an opportunity for lapsed scuba divers to brush up on their skills in a relaxed, friendly environment. The day includes classroom instruction, pool training provided by ADA Safety Officers and a free lunch!

When: Saturday, June 14, 9am to 2pm
Where:  A.D. Barnes Park Pool, 3401 SW 72 Ave., Miami
Cost: Free to current paid-up ADA members; non-members pay $25 which includes a free year of ADA membership.
Equipment: Participants must bring their own scuba gear – mask, fins, snorkel, BC, regulator, weights and a tank of air. If you don't have equipment you can rent from your local dive shop.

ADA Teams up with CRF for Coral Restoration Event September 6th

The season is off to a great start now with calm seas and 81 degree water. Make plans to join us now. It's as easy as 1, 2, 3:

3. Pay conveniently online or mail a check payable to Active Divers Association to Jerry Kosakowski, 298 NW 83rd Lane, Coral Springs, FL 33071!

Saturday, June 7th: Choose from a variety of dive sites including Christ of the Abyss statue, the Minnow Caves, the Elbow, Dry Rocks, Shark Reef, Snapper Ledge, and the Benwood shallow wreck - all full of fish and a variety of marine life. Depth 20-30 feet. Check in at Rainbow Reef at MM100 at 12:00 noon.

The Eagle Wreck

PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF DATE!
Sunday, June 15th: Experience the thrill of The Eagle, one of Key Largo's most interesting deep wreck dives. Lying on her side, she is home to green morays, tarpon and barracudas. Note: No BBQ afterward. Advanced criterion applies. Check in at Florida Keys Dive Center at 12:00 noon.

North Tavernier: Afternoon Dive

Saturday, June 21st: - Yes, after 36 years (1978) Capt's Slates has moved to a new location you will love even more at Mile Marker 90.7 in Tavernier. Along with this comes 25 new beautiful dive sites to explore. Be sure to stay afterward for a delicious BBQ between dives.  Check in at the new Capt. Slates in Tavernier at 12:00 p.m.

Night Dive

(Never been on a night dive before? We'll show you how!)
Saturday, June 21th: Come for the day dive and stay for the night dive! Experience a whole new world where the interesting critters come out such as squid, lobsters, octopus and very large turtles. Check in at the new Capt. Slates in Tavernier at 6:00 p.m.

Miami Wreck
(See army tanks and other sights!)

Sunday, June 29th: - Experience one of a kind wrecks such as jet airliner, M-60 Tanks, freighters, tugs and barges. Most are intact with penetration possible. All are surrounded by clear water and abundant marine life. Advanced criterion applies. Check-in at Divers Paradise at 12:00 noon.
