July 10-12 - Cayman Brac with Reef Divers

11 lucky ADA divers are enjoying the pristine waters of beautiful Cayman Brac this week, and we'll be here until Saturday, July 16th doing three dives a day.

Dive Sites visited so far include Cemetery Wall, Grunt Valley, Buccaneer, Keith Tibbets Russian Destroyer Wreck, Plymouth Rock, East Chute Wall, Piper's Wall, Preacher's Barge and Tombstone. 

Seas 1-2', visibility 100+', water temp 86 degrees. Profiles range from 40' reef dives to 110'+ wall dives. Incredibly clear, warm water, superior visibility, a plethora of marine life surrounds towering coral formations and steep walls including numerous turtles, sharks, southern stingrays, eels. Healthy coral reefs with large friendly Nassau Groupers, blue chromis, parrotfish, fairy basslets, sergeant majors, filefish, trunkfish, large yellowtails, creole wrasse, large conch, pufferfish, and more.

July 10 - ADA Special Charter with Rainbow Reef

Dive 1: Spiegel Grove, seas 2-3', vis. 70', depth 75', water temp. 84 degrees, moderate current. Sightings include superstructure from the surface, numerous cudas, large permit, blue runners.

Dive 2: Molasses deep, seas 2-3. vis. 100', depth 70', water temp. 84 degrees, slight current-drift dive.  Sightings include reef shark, hawksbill turtle, eagle ray, giant black coral tree, numerous queen angels, morays.

ADA Coral Restoration Foundation Planting Day on September 17th!
In this educational volunteer experience you'll learn how to prepare, grow, harvest, and replant corals on our reef. This full day program includes classroom training, lunch, a two-tank dive trip to the CRF coral nursery, and out-planting baby corals onto the reefs. Sunday, July 17th: Experience incredible drift diving in mild-moderate current that reveals perhaps the greatest bio-mass in South Florida. Known for its beauty, healthy reefs and plentiful marine life. Check in at Dolphin Sun at 12:00 noon.

Saturday, July 23rd: Experience the clear water and abundant marine life of Islamorada, just 4 miles past Tavernier. Here we'll find many colorful tropical fish and other wonderful sea creatures in consistently clear water. This dive is always an ADA favorite and is sure to fill up fast! North Tavernier

Sunday, July 31st: Come experience the top Key Largo scuba diving sites such as Molasses Reef, Conch Wall, Davis Ledge, Horseshoe and Hens & Chickens. Here you'll find many morays, schooling tropicals, turtles, the occasional spotted eagle ray, and  unusual pillar corals. Check in at Capt.Slates Atlantis Dive Center in Tavernier at 12:00 noon.

Looe Key
