ADA eNews: Barbados Reef Report
Dive with ADA this summer!
Reef Report: July 20-24th - Barbados with High Tide Water Sports

Nine lucky ADA divers enjoyed a week of great drift diving in beautiful Barbados. Seas were mostly flat calm, vis consistently 80' or greater, mild to moderate currents, depth 40' - 100' depending on location. Water temp 82-85 degrees. Sightings included one or more hawksbill turtles on every dive, seahorse, octopus, countless schooling creole wrasses, numerous spotted eels, puffer fish, flounder, Spanish lobsters, large arrow crabs, trunkfish, orange spotted fliefish, brown chromis. We hunted and caught dozens of lionfish, sauteed and ate them nearly every night. Turtle researchers from the University of the West Indies brought juvenile hawksbills onboard to tag, weigh, measure and release. We got to name several newly-tagged ones: Dr. Dan, Jay, Davis and Shelby. Coupled with the beautiful resort, lovely pool and resident monkeys, a wonderful time was had by all!
