Yes, if you volunteer to be chef for a BBQ, your dive is free, and you eat BBQ for free. Shopping list is provided and your purchase will be reimbursed. The Safety Officer will help prepare and serve. BBQs scheduled are Aug. 20th, and Nov. 5th. Call Lon at 305-251-4975 to sign up.

Dive Cancelled due to Weather: Be sure to call 305-251-4975 for the weather check from 9-10am the morning of a scheduled dive to ensure they dive is on, and to confirm the check-in time and location. Don't be disappointed - a phone call is all it takes.

NIGHT DIVING 101: Fear of the unknown, misconceptions, and lack of knowledge. These are reasons why some divers hesitate to night dive. Join us for our thorough ADA instruction and night dive mini-course this Saturday, August 20th. All the basics of night diving will be outlined and discussed.

Tenneco Towers
Incredible unique wreck dive.

Sunday, August 28th: the largest artificial reef in southeast Florida was created in 1985 when the Tenneco Oil Company sank five large sections of oil production platforms. Three of the platforms are within recreational diving limits. The soft coral encrusted wreck is home many large pelagic fish. Check in at American Dream at noon.

Boynton Beach (Advanced)
Drift diving over beautiful reefs!

Saturday, September 3rd: Favorite Boynton reef dives include Horse Shoe, Casino, the Boynton Reef and the Delray Ledges. Typical depths are 45 feet to 60 feet. Clear water and a variety of marine life await on these pristine drift dive sites. Check in at Dolphin Sun Charters at 12:00 noon.

Coral Restoration Foundation Coral Planting Day
Saturday, September 17th:
In this educational volunteer experience you'll learn how to prepare, grow, harvest, and replant corals on our reef. This full day program includes classroom training, lunch, a two-tank dive trip to the CRF coral nursery, and out-planting baby corals onto the reefs.
