Time: Park opens at 8:00 AM. Meet for beach dive at 9:00 AM, BBQ at noon.

Reef Report: 

October 1st - Spiegel Grove and Reef with Florida Keys Dive Center

Dive 1: Spiegel Grove. Seas 3', depth 100', vis 30', slight current. Water temp. 85 degrees. Attached to Ball 6 over the super structure with good access to the wreck. Sightings include black coral, large parrotfish, barracuda.  

Dive 2: Coral Canyon, Molasses reef. Seas 2', depth 21', vis. 30', no current. Water temp. 86 degrees. Sightings include spotted eagle ray, trunkfish, schooling yellowtail snappers and French grunts, numerous moon jellies, brain corals, trumpetfish, blue tangs, damselfish, juvenille creole wrasse,

Always call Lon 9-10 a.m. the morning of every dive to confirm the dive.

Sunday, October 9th: Choose from a variety of dive sites including Christ of the Abyss statue, the Minnow Caves, the Elbow, Dry Rocks, Shark Reef, Snapper Ledge, and the Benwood shallow wreck - all full of fish and a variety of marine life. Depth 20-30 feet. Check in at Rainbow Reef in at MM100 at 12:00 noon.

West Palm Beach (Advanced)
Drift dive in swift currents!
Saturday, October 15th:
The blue waters of the Gulf Stream dip closest to Florida here which creates a mild current (1 knot average) running parallel to the wrecks and reef lines. The gentle current allows divers to drift effortlessly along all the dive sites plentiful with marine life. Check in at Ocean Quest Scuba at 12:00 noon. Advanced criterion applies.

Blue Heron Bridge
(Night Dive)

Experience this famous dive by night!

Saturday, October 15th: One of South Florida's premiere shore dives is actually on the Intracoastal Waterway just inside of the Lake Worth Inlet. There’s plenty of schooling tropicals and other sea life such as starfish and rays, all in a relatively small area and all at depths ranging from 6 to 16 feet. Check in at Ocean Quest Scuba at 6:00 p.m.
Eagle Wreck (Advanced)
Amazing Key Largo Wreck Dive!
Sunday, October 23rd:
Experience the thrill of The Eagle, one of Key Largo's most interesting deep wreck dives. Lying on her side, she is home to green morays, tarpon and barracudas. Come and experience this unique wreck. Advanced criterion applies. Meet at Florida Keys Dive Center at 12:00 noon.

Fort Lauderdale Wreck Trek (Advanced)
Three great wrecks in one!

Saturday, October 29th: Experience three great wrecks in one dive: Jay Scutti, Tracey and Merci Jesus. Most are intact, covered in soft corals, and teeming with marine life. Advanced criterion applies. Meet at American Dream Dive Charters at 12:30 p.m.
