Great food, weather, diving and friends made for a great event.

30 ADA Members gathered at John U Lloyd State Park Jetty Pavilion for the annual End of Season BBQ and Beach Dive. We welcomed perfect weather, flat calm seas and no rain last Saturday, October 4th. Jerry Kosakowski and Rachel Davis led divers out to the reef in the morning, while Roy Wasson and helper Connie Crowther prepared the wonderful BBQ feast. After lunch Jerry gave away all of the fabulous raffle prizes from our local dive shops including free dives at FL Keys Dive Center and Capt. Slates, a dive light, safety sausage, lobster bag and many more. Congrats to new ADA member Bobby Weitzner for successfully completing his first beach and ocean dive post certification. Special thanks to Rachel Davis, Roy Wasson, Connie Crowther and Jerry Kosakowski for organizing and helping with the event. And of course Lon Von Lintel, our adviser who was there in spirit.  We look forward to another great event next year!
