Reef Report October 19th:
Spiegel Grove + Reef with Florida Keys Dive Center

Dive 1.  The wreck - seas 3-4.................INCHES! Vis. 50', depth 80', water temp. 84 degrees, current beginning of dive < one knot, at end of dive > two knots.Sightings include large cuda, schooling blue runners, grouper, red, yellow, green, blue and orange sponges.

Dive 2.  Little Molasses - seas 3 inches, vis 70-80', depth 25', water temp. 84 degrees, current slight. Sightings include a solo bottle nose dolphin, school of Bermuda chub, sergeant majors, creole wrasse, and yellow wrasse, and numerous large clusters of healthy antler corals.

North Tavernier
Check out the new Capt. Slates.

Sunday, November 2nd: Yes, after 36 years (1978) Capt's Slates has moved to a new location you will love even more at Mile Marker 90.7 in Tavernier. Along with this comes 25 new beautiful dive sites to explore with many morays, schooling tropicals, turtles, and the occasional spotted eagle ray. Check in at the new Capt. Slates in Tavernier at 12:00 p.m.

South Tavernier
Wall Dive in Key Largo!

Saturday, November 8th: No, you don't have to fly to the Caribbean to experience a great wall dive! Conch is one of the best of the few walls in South Florida. It starts at 45' and drops to 90. Full of canyons, corals and a chance of big pelagics to cruise by. Advanced Criterion applies. Meet at Florida Keys Dive Center at noon.
