French & Molasses Reefs with
Rainbow Reef
Dive 1:
French Reef, Donut Hole. Seas 2
ft., depth 40 ft., visibility 40 ft, water
temp 78 degrees. Dive season was off to a
good start with 15 ADA divers in
attendance and beautiful weather.
Sightings included turtle, nurse shark,
yellowtail snapper, Spanish grunts,
parrotfish, white grunts.
Dive 2:
Molasses Reef, Hole in the Wall. Seas
2 ft., depth 40 ft., visibility, 40 ft.,
water temp 78 degrees. Reported sightings
included a hammerhead shark (really?)
though no photographic evidence exists,
loggerhead turtle, several large lobsters,
schooling Atlantic spadefish, damselfish,
large boulder coral that survived Irma's
wrath. |
