It's Time to
Dive!
We hope this finds everyone safe and well. If you're
tired of staying at home and eager to dive, we have
some good news for you.
Recently dive boats were allowed to start operating
again. At the present time U.S. 1 south heading to the
Florida Keys is closed at Florida City. However, dive
boats are operating in Miami-Dade and Palm Beach
Counties. The Blue Heron Bridge is expected to open to
diving on May 18. So we've altered our dive schedule
to accommodate what's available.
We've added a few Blue Heron Bridge dives to allow our
members to do a basic dive before their first advanced
dive. In May and June we've switched dives from the
Keys to Jupiter, Palm Beach and Miami. Plus there's
still time to renew your membership by the extended
deadline of May 31.
Special restrictions have been put into place on dive
boats due to COVID-19 until further notice. On all
dives, members must use a face covering (mask) in
place at all times, except when using a regulator. Our
dive boats will carry a maximum of 8 divers and two
crew. Social distancing will be expected at all times,
on boats and on beach-entry dives. Personal hand
sanitizing products or gloves must be used. Following
these procedures, all can enjoy a safe and fun dive.
We look forward to
seeing you on a future dive! |
