Palm Beach with Walker's Dive Charters
Dive 1: Bath
& Tennis Reef, seas 2-3 ft, depth 60, water
temp 81 degrees, viz 20 ft., moderate current. The
top was green but as we descended it got clearer.
There was a lot of life on this reef including
large loggerhead turtles, an enormous southern
stingray nicknamed "Stubby" because of its short
tail, lobster, green moray eel, spotted eel,
banded butterfly fish, parrotfish, queen
angelfish,
Dive 2: The
Breakers, seas 2-3 ft, depth 70, water temp 81
degrees, viz 20 ft, strong current. Creole wrasse
schooling in pairs, large loggerheads, huge
biomass of fish swirling around nooks and crannies
in the reef, lobster, spotted eels, Altantic
spadefish, a wonderful dive!
The boat only allowed 8 passengers, the dive
briefing was thorough, all divers were required to
wear face coverings when not diving.
