Saturday, June 12
Key Largo, Amoray Dive Resort
Dive 1 - Greek Ledges. Seas 1', vis 35', depth 22', slight current. Sightings included - lobsters, moray
eels, a tiny baby smooth trunk fish, jewel fish and lots of angel fish
Dive 2 - North, North Dry Rocks. Seas 1', vis 45', depth 23', moderate current. Sightings included - anemones,
several puffer fish, rainbow parrot fish, lobsters, green moray and spotted moray eels, lots of schooling fish

Sunday, June 13
Tavernier, Captain Slate's Scuba Adventures
Dive 1 - Pleasure Reef. Seas 1', vis 50', depth 25', moderate current. First dive of the Creature
Feature starred at least ten huge green moray eels and several juvenile nurse sharks. Other sightings included -
queen angels, french angels, hog fish, trumpet fish, and a few smooth trunk fish
Dive 2 - Tumbled Rocks. Seas 2'-3', vis 50', depth 31', mild current. Second dive of the Creature Feature
starred at least 20 nurse sharks of all sizes. Other sightings included - several large Nassau Grouper, hog fish,
rainbow parrot fish, stop light parrot fish, several french angel fish

IMPORTANT WEATHER INFORMATION
Before departing for the dive site, confirm weather conditions with Lon at (305)
251-4975 or with the designated Safety Officer. It is the responsibility of the member to call. Because of
the large numbers of divers involved we are not able call you with weather information. For morning dives, call
between 6 and 10 p.m. the night before the dive. For afternoon dives, call between 9 and 10 a.m. the
morning of the dive

WELCOME ADA'S NEW SAFETY OFFICER
AMBER LAUREANO
Amber has completed all the required training
and has been elected by
the Safety Officer's Committee in an unanimous vote. We welcome
her and know she will continue the long tradition of service by these
dedicated members of ADA. She is highly qualified with an Instructor's
certification and many hours of assisting other Safety Officers. When
she was notified of the vote by the Committee she replied-
"Thank you so much for this honor and privilege. I am truly blessed to
be a part of such a wonderful organization and look forward to serving
for many years to come."
