Saturday, July 21st
South Tavernier with Florida Keys Dive Center


Dive 1: Molasses, Wellwood Grounding, seas 1', depth 30', vis 60', some current, water temp a balmy 89 degrees. Sightings include nurse shark, moray eel, cuda, schooling Bermuda chub, foureye butterfly fish, pork fish.

Dive 2: Sand Island, seas 1-2', depth 25', vis 70', no current, water temp 89 degrees. Sightings include queen angels,  stoplight parrot fish, blue parrotfish, scrawled filefish, striped parrot fish, red hind, nassau grouper, schooling Bermuda chub, schooling permit. 

Post dive, our chef of the day, Rachel Davis, prepared huge burgers, dogs and many sides. The only complaint heard was " I can't get my mouth around this burger". Thanks Rachel.
