-- ADA President and Safety Officer Lon Von Lintel
In this photo ADA divers explore the H.A.V. (Harry) Parker IV Barge on 8/12/17. Harry was president of ADA in 1982, Safety Officer, board member, and long time member before passing in 1990. His friend, Susan Boyd, and I were present the day the barge was sunk in his memory. We dived on the barge later that day. Those who knew Harry still miss him. I remember seeing his application for membership in ADA before meeting him. It listed his name as H.A.V. Parker IV. No first name, just initials. I thought that to be a bit strange. But in the next few years, I came to highly respect Harry and admire his abilities both above and below the water. Rest in peace Harry, you have not been forgotten.
