The
morning didn’t offer a lot of
promise for a great dive day,
but it turned out to be a good
day on the ocean despite 3-5 ft
seas. Captain Brad Gagas took us
to two reefs. The first was
Turtle Ledge (78 ft), the
second, south of the inlet was
called Sunkist (45ft).
We
were pulled along on a strong
north current for both dives,
vis was a milky 10-15 ft. We saw
lionfish, a school of barracuda,
schools of spade fish, a couple
of large moray eels, and
lobsters. Our divers were able
to bring home a bunch of bugs.
