YEAR
END DIVE, PICNIC AND RAFFLE:
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 23
We return to the Blue Heron Bridge
dive site at Phil Foster Park in
Riviera Beach for our annual
end-of-season event. The park is
located at 900 Blue Heron Blvd,
Riviera Beach, FL 33404. This site
is world-famous, named the Best
Shore Dive in the U.S. by Scuba
Diving Magazine. There is so much to
see here, just a flat, easy walk
from shore. Even though this is the
Intracoastal Waterway and not the
ocean, swift currents moving through
daily ensure the marine life is
always varied and abundant. Seas are
normally calm and clear. We have
seen goliath groupers, manatees,
bait balls of silversides, huge
yellow cushion starfish, 9-armed
starfish, batfish, frogfish,
octopus, eels, seahorses, numerous
crabs and abundant schools of
tropical fish including Atlantic
spadefish.
Meet for the optional shore dive at
9:00 a.m. - diver check-in is at the
covered pavilion next to the
restrooms. Please bring your dive
gear plus one air tank. If you don't
have a tank you can rent one on the
way at the Force E Blue Heron store
a short distance from the park at
155 Blue Heron Blvd, Riviera Beach,
FL 33404. At 12:00 noon we’ll fire
up the grill for hamburgers, hot
dogs, salads and all the fixin’s.
The event will conclude with a
raffle of fabulous dive-related
prizes. Feel free to also bring used
dive gear to buy, sell or swap!
All this is FREE but you must RSVP
to Amber at 561-301-2265 or simply
reply to this email. In order to get
an accurate headcount for lunch,
please RSVP no later than October
18.

From our
International Dive Trip
Planning Team:
Have you ever wanted to go
diving in Fiji? Dan and I have
been there twice and we have
heard a few divers express an
interest in the trip. In order
to get group prices we need to
know how many people are
interested in a 2022 trip that
would cost around $2000 for a
week plus airfare. Let me know
by sending me an email to
