Spiegel Grove Double Dip with Horizon Divers

Eight Active Divers double-dipped the Spiegel Grove with Horizon Divers.

Dive #1&2 Spiegel Grove - Seas 2-3 feet, depth 130ft to sand, vis 50 feet, water 82 degrees, zero current. What an incredible "treat" to wrap up the ADA season with the final boat dive! The weather finally cleared up, setting the stage for an unforgettable day underwater. Moored at Buoy #6, the calm current made for a relaxed, effortless dive, giving divers plenty of time to explore the massive wreck and encounter an impressive variety of marine life. With a fishing boat anchored nearby, the action on the wreck really kicked up a notch. Caribbean reef sharks, barracuda and grouper circled the crane areas like hungry customers at a drive-thru, while the resident permits put on a mesmerizing show, dancing around the upper deck. And to top it off, a massive school of nearly 40 barracuda hovered overhead as divers began their ascent, creating a breathtaking finale to an already exhilarating dive.
